After your arrival, check-in at the DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste, and perhaps a spa session, we’ll start by getting to know each other over a good glass of wine and then enjoy a delicious dinner together. How about a relaxing evening at the bar afterward?

Strengthened by a sumptuous breakfast buffet, we dive headfirst into the enchanting heart of Trieste, past magnificent neoclassical facades, lively cafés and sunlit piazzas, where some corners reveals stories of past empires.

At midday, we linger over a leisurely lunch at a waterfront trattoria, savoring the vibrant Mediterranean flavors while the Adriatic breeze brings the taste of sea salt and the promise of adventure.

Refreshed, we follow the coast to Duino Aurisina, where rocky cliffs meet clear waters. A gentle seaside path here is perfect for a quick swim in a sheltered cove or a peaceful moment watching the horizon.

In the evening we will have a lovely dinner at Hotel Eden Sistiana with Friulian dishes and regional wines and we enjoy the gentle sound of the sea.

Friuli Venezia Giulia is steeped in history. Today, we’ll cross into Slovenia—just a few hundred metres from the Italian border—to visit three great wineries: Klet Brda, Zanut, and Ercetic. Along the way, we’ll pause for a relaxed wine lunch at Belica Restaurant, where fresh local ingredients and thoughtful pairings bring a fantastic food-wine-experience

In afternoon we’ll arrive at Villaverde Hotel with its inviting wellness and spa area. Here, a “Cena con Vini buoni” is waiting for us. An unhurried dinner paired with excellent local wines, the perfect way to unwind after a day of discovery.

Today we visit the Bidoli winery, founded in 1924 and family-owned for three generations. Numerous awards testify to consistent quality. Of course, we also taste their delicious wines.

There are several places in Italy where the best ham can be found. One of them is San Daniele, where we visit a traditional prosciutto ham factory and have lunch.

Relaxation time, spa treatments, dinner, and a cozy get-together are also on the agenda.Our dinner will be at Restaurant San Michele, a short drive from the Hotel. Every course, from the silky agnolotti stuffed with San Daniele prosciutto to the delicate Adriatic turbot refined with herb-infused olive oil, is a tribute to the region’s food paradise.
