My name is Armin and I was born in the Northern part of Germany, a region, famous for good beer. However, my parents and also my two grandmothers preferred drinking wine. So my first contact with beverages for adults, was not beer, but wine. Add to this, for my best friend, the situation was quite similar. When we both started to study at University, we used to play once or twice a month chess in the evening, having a glass of good wine. Sometimes also one or two bottles. The passion for wine grew over the years and the wine experience enhanced.
Many years later, I established a booking portal in the internet, where you can rent vacation houses in the region of Lake Iseo in Italy. There you have the Franciacorta Wine Region, called also Champagne of Italy. Clients asked me to organize wine tastings and step by step I build up relationships with the wine producers. Of course I learned a lot about the way to produce these famous sparkling wines. And then I decided to enroll for a Sommelier Course in Zurich. I thought I already knew a lot about wine when I started the studies. Over the period of 3 years, I could really learn a lot about wine and the wine world. When I finished, I had understood, how little I knew about wine before starting the studies. During the course we learned a lot about the different wine regions and we organized a Wine Tour in Franciacorta. Being there, tasting the wines, getting information about the wine makers, the grapes and the territory, we started to understand the whole picture. And this was amazing.
Join our Annual Gourmet Wine Advanced Course in Zurich
Learn about different wine regions of the world. Each evening and lesson is dedicated to one specific Wine Region.
You will learn about the Climate and other parameters, important to make a good wine.
We will taste several wines per evening together.
You will get an introduction how to use the Color Chart and the Aroma Wheel.
Improve your senses (eyes, nose, palate).
We analyze and discuss the wines in order to improve our tasting skills.
And of course you will get valuable information about the Wine-Food-Matching for all these wines.

Included in this Advanced Wine Course are
The Wine Course of 10 sessions in canton Zurich will start soon:
- Wine Course of 10 sessions in canton Zurich
- depending on availability the place/location might change from time to time
- The sessions are normally 2 hours from 7pm – 9pm.
- Each session is dedicated to a specific wine region
- For each session we will create a Power Point Presentation
- All presentations are only for private use
- All presentations will be made available via Dropbox
- The wines will be selected by Armin H. Müller
- The wines (normally 4 or 5 per session) will be provided
- Water will be provided
- Little snacks (cheese, grissini, olives or others) will be provided
The important stuff
In addtition to our General Terms and Conditions, please be advised, that we like to have clear communication and that:
- in case you cannot participate a specific lesson, that there is no refund. Of course you can send another person on your behalf.
- in case I, Armin H. Müller cannot perform a specific announced date due to illness or other personal reasons, this lesson is not
canceled. It will be just postponed to a new date and time. A new appointment is usually communicated within 90 days of
the original date and in case you cannot make the new date there will be also no refund. However, if possible, we try to offer
you something else out of our portfolio of trips and wine tastings. - in case, we cannot keep an appointment due to official/governmental instructions or force majeure, there is no entitlement for reimbursement, even if it is not possible/allowed to keep this appointment at all. Whenever possible we offer you a new session at a specific date and time

After booking you will receive a confirmation email. Regarding the proposed program above, this is not a binding schedule, as program changes are possible to various reasons.
Payment: The money transfer to all means is at the same time a binding booking. In the case of a cancellation of a single date or the whole course, each participant is herewith advised, that there is no refund.
